Product Introduction
Our Ceremonial Grade Matcha comes from first-harvest tencha leaves that grow in the high-mountain tea gardens of Guizhou and Zhejiang provinces, China. These regions offer the altitude, misty climate, and acidic soil that matcha tea plants require. Therefore, the leaves develop a deep color and a rich umami profile. During the final 20–30 days before harvest, farmers shade the tencha plants, and this practice concentrates chlorophyll, L-theanine, and umami while it suppresses bitterness. After harvest, the leaves are steamed, dried, de-stemmed, and slowly milled on granite wheels at low temperature to protect color and aroma.
For B2B buyers, this grade delivers the two qualities that matter most in commercial use: stable, vivid jade-green color and smooth, non-astringent body. In addition, the fine 1,000–1,500 mesh particle size disperses evenly in water and milk without sediment fallout. As a result, it suits both traditional usucha preparation and high-volume café service.
As a China-based source factory, we control the full chain from contracted tea gardens in Guizhou and Zhejiang to our own milling line. Consequently, specification and flavor profile stay consistent across repeat orders, and the landed cost stays significantly below Japanese-origin matcha of comparable grade.

Wide Applications
Tea Houses & Cafés
Ceremonial grade is the standard for usucha and koicha service, and also elevates matcha lattes where customers expect a clean, sweet, non-grassy flavor. The high L-theanine content buffers caffeine, so the drinking experience stays smooth even at higher serving sizes.
Retail & Gifting Brands
The vivid color and clean flavor hold up in premium tins and gift sets. We supply retail-ready packaging with your branding, plus compliant nutrition panels for the US, EU, and APAC markets.
Bakery & Confectionery
Used as a finishing dust or in no-bake applications where heat would dull the color. Ideal for macarons, chantilly, mousse, and premium chocolate inclusions.
Beverage Formulation
Works in RTD and powder-mix formats where a clean-label, unsweetened matcha base is required. Fine particle size keeps the drink uniform with minimal settling.
